Can I update my forwards (.forward file) during the migration?

All forwards have to be converted to the new mail system. For this, we use a script and resolve some weird configurations manually.
As a consequence, it is not possible to update your .forward file after it has been processed (around December 13). The file will have the immutable bit set causing you to no longer being able to change the file, although you may have the right permissions.

If you need to change the file afterwards and cannot wait until January 3rd, you can create a ticket with the CBC on https://support.gewis.nl. Please note that this involves a lot of manual work and we rather avoid that.
